Week Six (Tampa Bay Buccaneers Bye Week)

Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints

Coming off a short week and a heartbreaking loss, the Panthers come out flat in this one. Not a great place – or opponent – to do that with. The Saints strike early and often, using their speed to expose the sluggish Panthers defense still reeling off a Monday night loss. The Panthers fight back, but it’s too little too late.

Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks

Atlanta to Denver to Atlanta to Seattle. The NFL schedule makers are not Falcons fans. They surprised the Broncos, but the Seahawks prove which bird is superior – and it’s not even close. The vaunted Seahawks defense tees off on Matt Ryan all day long and the Falcons can’t get anything going at all during a long, long afternoon.
