Loser: Quarterback Jameis Winston

I guess Winston wanted to follow in Florida State’s footsteps this week. He had one of the worst games in his professional career with five turnovers. Not all the turnovers were his fault: Sims ran into him on his fumble, receivers not looking at the pass, tipped passes, …etc. But it seemed like everything that could go wrong for Winston today did go wrong.

Winston threw the ball a career high 52 times completing only 27 of them for 4.7 yards per attempt. Losing Doug Martin early in this game didn’t help much either. A really rough game for a quarterback who won NFC Offensive Player of the Week last week. He’s just got to forget about it and get focused on next week against the apparently dominating Rams’ defense.
