Tight Ends

ASJ who? The Bucs were put in an awkward spot this week when their former second round pick was arrested for a DUI and subsequently cut, just days away from the game. Suddenly their big-play tight end was no more and once again it fell on the shoulders of Cameron Brate to pick up the slack. He did not disappoint.

Brate finished the game with 5 catches, 46 yards and two touchdowns. His first score came on a three yard play while the second came on a one yard play. It’s clear that Brate has rock-solid chemistry with Jameis Winston, particularly in the red zone.

With Luke Stocker injured the rest of the tight ends were unspectacular, only registering one catch from Brandon Myers.
