Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 15 Winners and Losers
By Brian DeFeo
Winner: Kicker Roberto Aguayo
In a game where the offense struggled for most of the game the lack luster kicker continued to improve from his horrendous beginning of the season. The kicker recorded the only points in the first half as he made both of his kicks from 25 and 34 yards out. He made both of his extra point attempts as well extending his perfect kicking streak to two games. The Bucs are still one of two teams to not hit a field goal from beyond 45 yards.
If the Bucs can gain some trust in Roberto Aguayo soon they won’t have to try and force the ball down the field as much when they are past the 50 yard line. Anger is a great punter but when he punts from deep field goal range that takes points off the board. I don’t know if he’s not making kicks in practice that is making Koetter give the ball to Anger or if he just doesn’t trust him enough to put the ball through the uprights. He’s made them when he’s been out there lately so he’s just got to keep it up.
