Practice Makes Perfect

This one may seem like a cop-out, but hear me out.

There is a lot that goes into making a decision like this, things we don’t see. It’s more than just what we see on the field and the history of each player. Those are all well and good, and certainly play a part in the decision at hand.

The one thing that is an “x-factor” for all of us is the practice field. Remember, nobody, not even our beat reporters, get complete access to practice sessions. The media sees a portion and then are barred like we as fans are. My point? Rodgers may simply look better on the practice field right now.

Don’t overreact, I am not saying that Martin has taken his money and stopped playing. Far from it, I agree with James in his post. But isn’t it possible that in Koetter’s eyes, Rodgers is the better of the two players right now?

He says he will continue to put the Bucs in the best position to win. If he believes that “Quizz” represents that guy, I am inclined to believe him.
