Atlanta Falcons Wide Receiver – Taylor Gabriel

What this player lacks in size he makes up for with speed and explosiveness.

Gabriel has been an important part of the Falcons’ passing attack and his six touchdowns are evidence of that.

Stretching the field is his specialty, and turning poor angles by any defense into big plays is what his highlight reel is all about.

The Bucs need speed, and Gabriel has plenty of it at just 25-years old with his second NFL team.

He’s a restricted free-agent though, which will force teams negotiating with him into a bit of a spot as they try to find a number high enough to keep Atlanta, with an estimated $24 million in cap space, from matching but low enough not to overspend.

DeSean Jackson has been linked to the Buccaneers’ off-season pursuits a bit despite most feeling he’s headed back to Philly.

Gabriel is smaller than Jackson, but has similar explosiveness for a smaller price tag.

If his current team doesn’t lock him up quickly then it’s worth talking about for a Bucs squad in need of a playmaker at receiver.
