Ok, James Yarcho and I discussed this pick a bit in the preview episode of our new podcast: Walking the Plank.

If the Buccaneers are going to move on Dalvin Cook out of Florida State they’re going to either have to make a deal with the Colts, or move ahead of them with Arizona.

If not, this is where the Seminoles’ playmaker is headed and Bucs fans will be none too pleased according to social media rumblings.

With Indianapolis essentially wasting what once presumed to be a Hall of Fame career in the making for Andrew Luck, they need to ensure he can at least have a somewhat reliable running back behind him.

Frank Gore has performed admirably, but it’s time to think young and Cook can not only run but turn himself into a legitimate receiving threat out of the backfield.

With defenders having to watch him leaking out, things should open for T.Y. Hilton and company a bit more downfield, and might even negate some of the pass rush which feasted on the Colts’ turnstile offensive line in 2016.
