My favorite time of year is draft season. I know, it might be odd to some of you, but I suspect some of you Buccaneers fans reading this share my enthusiasm.

As much as I love watching Buccaneers football during the regular season – and post-season soon enough – I have to say the evaluation and anticipation of which draft picks will head where is a passion I cannot deny.

The first three days of the leagues season always bring rumors, big signings, bigger trades and the occasional surprise or five.

Until probably mid-February I never imagined DeSean Jackson would be showing off a Bucs jersey, but here we are.

Oh, and then Brandin Cooks heading to New England in return for first-round compensation? Come on, some of us were vaguely aware of trouble brewing in the Saints’ wide receiver group, but this? Nobody predicted this.

Players have switched teams and teams are in turn adjusting their draft plans. Let’s see how this might shake out.

It’s Mock Draft Time!
