I’m not sure there’s a more patient receiver in the league than DeAndre Hopkins. After enduring the rotation of passers he’s gone through in his career, I’m surprised he’s not holding out for a trade.
After seeing him at the combine and looking deeper into some tape, there’s no doubt that Mohomes has a lot of talent.
He needs someone to help him refine it and convert it to a style suitable for the NFL, and head coach Bill O’Brien could be just the guy.
This team still needs to find a bridge guy like Jay Cutler or Tony Romo, or possibly even Trevor Siemian.
Mahomes isn’t ready to start this season, but could be building towards a bright future.
