Clemson. Mike Williams. 2. player. 42. . Wide Receiver

Hiring John Lynch to be their new general manager was a sneaky good move by this franchise, and he’s been making sneaky good signings leading up to the draft next month.

Marquise Goodwin and Aldrick Robinson were both sleeper wide receivers I had identified who wouldn’t break the bank, but could have big impacts on their new team.

Adding Pierre Garcon to this bunch gives San Francisco a good start to rebuilding their offense post Harbaugh/Kelly/Colin Kaepernick era.

The trendy pick here will likely be either quarterback or safety. I mean, why wouldn’t a former safety take a new safety.

Well, for one, if he’s trying to repair the offense with his offensive minded head coach.

Kyle Shanahan did wonders in Atlanta and is known for his ability to get an offense moving.

Drafting Mike Williams from Clemson here fits what he’s done already, and gives bridge quarterback Brian Hoyer a solid group of weapons to work with.
