The Minnesota Vikings were the hottest team to start last season and then they collapsed. Adrian Peterson was injured before he even could even get started and now he’s gone. They did sign Latavius Murray but they have a bad offensive line. Teddy Bridgewater does not have a functional knee and they decided to replace him with one of the most fragile backs in the league, Sam Bradford. Bradford was healthy for every game he played in this season where he did break the record completion percentage while completing under 4,000 yards. Not the best stats for the most important position in football.
They do have a stout defense however. Anthony Barr, Eric Kendricks, and elite safety Harrison Smith are the leaders but they need to listen to Mike Zimmer. They need control in the locker room before they can get control on the field. Losing Cordarelle Patterson is going to impact them more than they think especially if Laquon Treadwell doesn’t develop.
