In all honesty Andrew Luck is the only reason the Colts are this high. They have a once in a lifetime talent and unfortunately it is being wasted behind a patchwork offensive line, an extremely aging Frank Gore, and a below average defense. They finally moved on from Ryan Grigson so they have a real opportunity here to reclaim the AFC South. The Jaguars defense could be legit, the Titans are better, and the Texans had the top defense in the league.

Andrew Luck has solid receivers, like TY Hilton, but needs more. He is getting crushed by defenses with the lack of protection which is leading to injuries. Luck needs to be smarter also. He’s got to slide and has to know when to throw it away. He’s entering his prime but he can’t win games when he’s not on the field. Almost every team in the league would be thrilled to have Luck on their team but the Colts have to give him help. They’ve won this division on luck before, pun intended, but they won’t be so lucky with the improved AFC South coming after them.
