. Arizona Cardinals. 15. team. 32. .

Continuing the streak of birds, the Arizona Cardinals have a big decision to make soon. Carson Palmer was an MVP candidate entering the 2016 season but fell flat and looked like an old quarterback. David Johnson had a stunning rookie season and made the NFL world know he was not a fluke, in his second season. Larry Fitzgerald is still a legend but retirement has to be on his mind. They resigned Chandler Jones to a massive contract extension and was unable to retain Calais Campbell and Tony Jefferson. They’ve been pretty tight with cap space  and haven’t made any splash moves outside of Jones.

They were a couple plays away from making the playoffs this year and if it weren’t for missed kick they would’ve been there. Chandler Catanzaro was not brought back and they have not signed a kicker yet so expect a few signed in the training camp. The Cardinals have a great defense and could be an elite offense. It all rests on Carson Palmer so if he’s got one more Kurt Warner-esque run in him they could be serious contenders for the title.
