3. He Enjoys The Outdoors

Beckwith is a lover of the outdoors, especially when it comes to horses. According to his player profile on LSU’s website, he has owned eight horses throughout his life. He currently has three that he cares for, which are named Vicky Marie, CoCo Chanel and Rozay. According to an article from NOLA.com, he received his first horse as a Christmas present when he was seven years old.

His mother said that before he owned live horses, he used to buy plastic horses and keep them in plastic stables. But once he received his first real horse, Tasha, his love for the animals only grew. He talks in the article about how caring for horses helped him mature, teaching him responsibility.

The obsession for horses certainly makes Beckwith unique, which is something he seems to embrace. The article linked above also includes some insight into the horse fascination from former teammate Deion Jones, who is now with the Falcons:

"It’s not a secret, either. Fellow linebacker Deion Jones plays next to Beckwith and says his teammate talks ceaselessly about horses he wants to buy and how to break them in. “He dreams about playing in the NFL,” Jones said. “He doesn’t watch too much football, I can tell you that. Horses are still No. 1 to him.”"

Hopefully, Beckwith is able to continue his care for horses when he becomes a full-time Buccaneer. If it’s plausible, he surely will.
