Week 7: at Buffalo Bills, 1:00 PM

The Bucs will travel to Buffalo to square off against the Bills. The Bucs handled the Bills in the previous matchup, 27-6 in the 2013 season. The Bills finished last season with a 7-9 record and promptly fired head coach Rex Ryan. Buffalo hired former Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott to take over. The Bills are a team that is usually better than their record indicates.

McDermott brings an interesting advantage to the Bills for this one. As the former Panthers defensive coordinator, he will be intimately familiar with all things Bucs. He will have a greater understanding of what the Bucs do than most other coaches that are outside the division. The offense will have to work hard for all gains and points on this afternoon in upstate NY.

The Bucs run defense will face yet another tough challenge in LeSean “Shady” McCoy. The Bucs must follow the same game plan as they did against the Cardinals and take McCoy out of the game. If they can do that, Tampa should be able to keep Tyrod Taylor or whoever ends up starting for Buffalo at bay. I believe this game will be a comfortable victory for the Bucs.

Prediction: Bucs win 28-17, go to 5-2.
