Week 5 vs. New England Patriots

Anytime that you play on a short week it’s a disadvantage to your team but it gets even worse when the team you must  play is the New England Patriots. Unfortunately, the Bucs are in that position. A week after playing the Giants, the Bucs get to host the Patriots at Raymond James Stadium in a prime-time slot on Thursday Night Football. The young gun Winston going up against five-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady. This game is also going to test Dirk Koetter’s coaching ability by trying to come up with a game plan to try and outsmart Bill Belichick.

This isn’t a game that Bucs fan should expect to win, whenever you play the Patriots you know your going to be in for a battle. However, it’s going to be awesome to see how the young and improving Bucs do on such a big stage against arguably one of the most dominant dynasties in all of sports. If they can give this Patriots team a battle, one that looks just as dominating as ever, it’s going to show even more so that this is a team headed in the right direction.

The additions of Brandon Cooks, Stephon Gilmore, Dwayne Allen, and Kony Ealy make this team the clear-cut favorite to win the title once more. Also, having a healthy Rob Gronkowski won’t hurt. Every team gets pumped up to play the defending champs and it won’t be any different for Tampa Bay. To be the best, you’ve got to beat the best. Time to see what the Bucs have.
