The Bucs to Make the Playoffs and Maybe a Little More…

When the 2017 schedule was released I said that I would not predict a record at that time but now that the off season is under way I see five really tough games for the Buccaneers.
Playing both Super Bowl participants for the second season in a row gives us two tough games against Atlanta and one against New England, and playing against five playoff teams (Patriots, Packers, Falcons, Lions, and Giants) from last season will be difficult.

The rest of the schedule has the usual two match ups against Cam Newton and the Panther which is always difficult although the Bucs swept them last season, and of course two against Drew Brees and the Saints that was split last season. A rematch against the Cardinals who destroyed us last season will be a game that gets the players extra motivated.

The Bucs were basically one game away from the playoffs last season and this season I believe that with their added weapons on offense and a second year under Mike Smith’s defense that they not only get to the playoffs but they win their first playoff game since 2002.

Those are my predictions for the upcoming season and since they are all positive predictions lets all of us stick carriers hope they come true.
