New Buccaneers receiver DeSean Jackson took to UNINTERRUPTED to pay tribute to his father, Bill Jackson.

A father-son bond is unlike any other. For those fortunate enough to experience it, they are truly life-long best friends. The father takes on the role of molding their son into a man – teaching them based on things their father taught them as well as mistakes from their own lives they don’t want to witness their son replicate. For Buccaneers receiver DeSean Jackson, it’s about honoring the man that helped mold him into the star he is today.

Bill Jackson kept on top of DeSean to ensure he was training properly and becoming a master of his craft. Though, at times, it appeared DeSean was discouraged with his father’s methods, he followed the instructions laid before him.

Father knows best, right?

Jackson took to UNINTERRUPTED to speak about his father as you can see from the video below;

He makes it a point to discuss how he reaches out to kids and show them that they can succeed no matter what position they’re in now. It takes work and dedication, but it can be done. That they need to understand how to conduct themselves, treat their peers, and especially how to treat women. Lessons his father instilled in him and his brother.

There are high hopes and lofty expectations for Jackson’s tenure in Tampa Bay after signing a three year, $33.5 million dollar deal to come in and be the deep threat and speedster the Buccaneers so desperately needed.
