This years Madden ratings are out, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the makings of a fun team to play with.

Every year in Madden there’s a couple of different teams that everybody flocks to. These teams are the ones with elite quarterbacks and all around dominant offenses, like the Patriots, Falcons, Steelers and Cowboys. Whenever you venture online to play against other gamers, this small group of teams are generally the only ones you’ll see. For perhaps the first time in Madden history, I expect the Buccaneers to be one of these teams this season.

The full player ratings for Madden 18 have been released, and they paint a picture of an extremely potent digital Buccaneer team. If you’re a skilled Madden player, nobody will be able to stop you on offense, and the teams’ defense has enough speed from its linebackers and power from its defensive linemen to get a lot of sacks. Over the next few slides we’ll go over the noteworthy player ratings on offense, defense and special teams, and determine who’s underrated, who’s overrated, and who’s just right.
