Is the Buccaneers’ Mike Evans an elite fantasy football wide receiver?

Entering his fourth season with the Buccaneers and in the NFL, Evans has seemingly gotten better and better each year.

As one of just three players at his position to eclipse 300 fantasy points in 2016, the tall target finished behind only Jordy Nelson of Green Bay and Antonio Brown of Pittsburgh.

Over the past two seasons, Evans has been missing a true running mate.

I love Vincent Jackson as much as any other Bucs fan, but his health has been a problem the past couple of years, and forced Tampa to bring in a new co-star for 2017.

Previous to this, V-Jax’s injury struggles has left the former Aggie as the only real consistent target for whatever quarterback the team threw out to the wolves.

Now though, Tampa has a solid quarterback in Jameis Winston, and another receiving threat who played as many games in 2016 as Jackson in 2015 and 16 combined.

If last season was a sign of things to come, then Evans is in for a big fantasy football year.

Just how big? Let’s take a look.
