Jackson is a solid addition for the Buccaneers, but needs to be drafted for value if you add him to your fantasy football team.

For me, he’s a low-end WR2 with mostly flex streaming play potential.

Recently, the guys over at The Fantasy Footballers gave their rankings for wide receivers this year, and we even had Pro Football Spot’s Jake Arthur on the Walking the Plank Podcast to talk the position.

Over at the Fantasy Footballers, the consensus ranking for Jackson is WR37. This is obviously a bit lower than my view on him, but still in the streaming ballpark.

The highest ranking he got was from Jason Moore (WR34), while Mike Wright has him sitting at the WR40 position.

John Brown, Kenny Britt and Eric Decker all sit behind the former Redskins receiver. Meanwhile, his former teammate Pierre Garcon sits one position ahead of him as he starts his 49ers career.

I have him higher than some do, and you’ll have to make your own opinion.

My Prediction: 62-catches, 980-yards, and 6-touchdowns (WR2)

This has been my look at DeSean Jackson’s fantasy football value as one of the Buccaneers starting wide receivers for 2017.

What’s your take on it, and where do you think I missed on this?
