LB- Riley Bullough

Joe Dirt or Fabio?

Riley Bullough is an undrafted rookie who has been the star of the popular Hard Knocks series since it began in early August. The new fan favorite across the Bay area has shown flashes of potential throughout both training camp and pre-season match-ups, but has it been enough?

During Tuesday night’s episode of episode, Defensive Coordinator Mike Smith pointed out Bullough’s biggest flaw… his ability to move in pass defense. After letting up a big completion up the seam during last week’s contest against the Cleveland Browns, fans were able to wipe their eyes to see why Bullough was truly an undrafted player.

Tackling machine? Yes… he currently has logged 8, but that is not all that matters in the new age of the NFL that relies more on the passing attack.

The road may not be easy, but can Bullough rebound tonight versus the Redskins? Will he be the final linebacker on the roster?

Special teams should help this young lad. If it doesn’t, we may have seen the end of Bullough in a Bucs uniform.
