Buccaneers Talk: T.J. Ward, Week one reschedule, Hard Knocks with Trevor Sikkema

On this week’s Walking The Plank podcast, we’re joined by Trevor Sikkema of Pewter Report to discuss the signing of Ward, the Buccaneers game being postponed, and Hard Knocks finale.
We were lucky enough to be joined once again by Trevor Sikkema, Buccaneers beat reporter and draft extraordinaire for Pewter Report to discuss the latest in all things Bucs. We kick off the show discussing the T.J. Ward signing.
The worry at the moment is how soon we will see Ward become fully acclimated to the defense – a system that we witnessed the team take almost half the season to fully grasp. Trevor eludes to the fact that had the game not been postponed, Ward likely would have been inactive for week one. The postponement will now allow Ward an additional week to get into the playbook and get on the field week two against the Bears.
Then we dive into the postponement, all three of us taking different viewpoints on the NFL’s decision and how we felt about it from both a Buccaneers perspective as well as a personal perspective.
Finally, we discuss the Buccaneers on Hard Knocks. How were they represented? Favorite moments? Standouts? Then we wrap up with Trevor answering some season Over/Unders and some really random rapid fire questions.
