Tarik Cohen came out of nowhere last week and lit the Falcons up.
Cohen, a fourth round selection out of North Carolina A&T figured to at most be a backup RB. However, now he may be the biggest play-maker for the Bears.
Cohen lead the Bears in rushing and receiving yards with 66 and 47 respectively. Many may have seen his dazzling 46-yard run as well, making defenders miss left and right it’s clear he has talent.
Cohen was a main reason Chicago was even in the game and the Bucs must prevent that from happening come Sunday.
In order to game plan for him I believe they’d be best served having one of their speedy linebackers shadow him. The Bucs defense line should be able to overpower and somewhat stifle the run game but as we saw last week Cohen is good out of the backfield as well.
If Kwon or Lavonte are shadowing him that should limit the damage that he does to the Bucs. While none of them have elite coverage skills their speed and pursuit ability will help them greatly in the task of keeping Cohen in check.
Tampa Bay should be able to win this game but if they do not contain Cohen it won’t come by as easy.
