This past week the Bears’ rookie running back, Tarik Cohen, stole the show versus a Buccaneers division rival when he put him a whopping 66-yards on five carries.

If you do the match that gives him an average of 13.2 yards per touch… not too bad for a rookie suiting up for his first professional game.

So just how do the Bucs game plan around him?

The answer to the Cohen question is for the Bucs defense to shut down Bears’ quarterback Mike Glennon.

As many Buc fans may know, it is not just Cohen that Tampa will be game planning around but also second year back Jordan Howard. The Bears two headed monster is set to give defensive coordinators headaches throughout the regular season with their one two punch approach.

Now although the running back stable for the Bears may be impressive, to shut down former Bucs quarterback Mike Glennon will force the Bears to rely heavy on their run game. What this means for Tampa is that the Bears offense will become predictable, which they will be able to take advantage of.

No Cameron Meredith. No Kevin White. Good luck Glennon. I smell another big game for Chris Conte.
