For the first time this season, we’re going to take a look at how the Buccaneers did in their execution against an opponent where the win or loss counts.

When the Buccaneers took the field against the Bears, it was the first time they’d played against an opponent since Week 4 of the preseason.

As the rest of the NFL got their quests for the Super Bowl underway a week ago, the Bucs and Dolphins found themselves seeking shelter against Hurricane Irma instead.

The byproduct of this, is 16-games straight, and no bye week for the rest of the year.

There were plenty of new Bucs on the field to help get the returning faces off on the right step.

In the end, Tampa Bay came out of the game with their first win of the season and relatively healthy.

Winning 29-0 was a solid opening act for the 2017 version of this franchise, but we’re a long way from the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl.

For now, we’ll all enjoy this win.

Let’s get to the grades.
