LB- Kwon Alexander

As mentioned in the opening, the Minnesota Viking’s have the NFL’s third leading rusher in rookie Florida State product Dalvin Cook.

Enter Kwon Alexander.

The Bucs’ defense last week held the Chicago Bears and their two young stud running backs in check for a measly 1.3 yards per carry, which is quite a successful feat due to the fact that Alexander was pulled early on for a precautionary reason.

So why Kwon?

If the Bucs stout run defense lead by Gerald McCoy and William Gholston are able to once again bottle up the run, it will force the Vikings to rely on the arm of either Keenum or Bradford… which in essence would result in Cook being swung out for the pass.

Cook, who is a successful receiver out of the backfield, would likely be covered by linebacker Alexander. If Alexander can once again prove his worth in pass defense, this team may walk out victorious when the whistles blow.

Let us hope that hamstring holds up.
