The Buccaneers are traveling to Minnesota to face the Vikings in an interesting match-up, let’s take a look at who isn’t suiting up.
The Buccaneers will be facing a stifling Minnesota defense, fortunately with everyone on the offense healthy. However, they will be missing some key pieces on the defensive side of the ball, including one surprise inactive. Let’s take a look at who is inactive for both sides.
Must Read: Gameplanning Bucs v Vikings
Bucs Inactives:
TE Antony Auclair
DT Chris Baker
CB Brent Grimes
We had known that Kwon Alexander would miss due to his hamstring injury and it is for the best. The last thing the Bucs would need is for Kwon to reaggravate it and miss several games. Smith and Baker were also expected to miss this game due to the flu. Gotta disinfect the locker room guys, can’t have a MRSA situation again.
The surprise inactive here was Brent Grimes, he was limited in practice this week, but nothing indicated that he would miss this game. The Bucs will certainly miss him in this matchup.
Beckwith and Glanton may not be able to replicate Kwon’s production but I believe they will fill in solidly. Tampa Bay’s defensive line depth will be tested this week, hopefully, they’re up for the challenge.
Vikings Inactives:
QB Sam Bradford
WR Rodney Adams
WR Stacy Coley
G Danny Isidora
T Aviante Collins
DT Jaleel Johnson
The Vikings will be without their QB once again, as Sam Bradford will not be able to play due to a knee injury. Outside of Bradford, the Vikings do not appear to be missing any key players. Minnesota looks to be healthier than Tampa Bay overall, but there is a steep dropoff from Bradford to Keenum.
There you have it the Week 3 inactives for the Bucs Vikings matchup. It will be interesting to see how Jameis fares against this Minnesota
