Fantasy football sit, start, and sleepers: Divisional picks for 2017 Week 4
NFC SOUTH
The Saints are riding high into Miami after beating the Panthers as they battle the only team to lose to the Jets in 2017.
Meanwhile Carolina walks right out of a bad win and straight into Foxboro for a tough contest.
Atlanta will host the Broncos-slaying Buffalo Bills, and Tampa Bay hosts the New York Giants in a late afternoon game, because the NFL didn’t learn their lesson last season. Bring on the rain delay!
SIT: Quarterback, Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers
The thought we might get MVP Cam back is dwindling by the game. At this point, Panthers fans are just hoping they don’t get totally embarrassed against the Patriots.
Save yourself some heartache and sit this one out with him.
START: Quarterback, Drew Brees – New Orleans Saints
He’s playing the Dolphins.
SLEEPER: Quarterback, Jameis Winston – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Wait! Don’t Leave!
Listen, Winston overthrew DeSean Jackson in Week 2. He then underthrew him in Week 3 on a similarly deep route.
So if Goldilocks has taught us anything, this week will be just right. You don’t make fantasy projections based off fairy tales? Pfft.

AFC SOUTH
If you’re looking for fantasy football quarterbacks, you came to the wrong place! Marcus Mariota faces the Texans defense, and Bortles draws the Jets. Hmm, Bortles against the Jets?
Elsewhere, Indianapolis is visiting Seattle on Sunday Night. I like Jacoby Brissett as much as the next guy, but c’mon.
SIT: Quarterback, Blake Bortles – Jacksonville Jaguars
Don’t do it. Don’t get sucked in by the logic of how Baltimore has a better defense than the Jets and Bortles smoked them for four touchdowns.
This is still Jacksonville, and it’s still Blake Bortles. Stop it.
START: Running back, DeMarco Murray – Tennessee Titans
The Pewter Plank’s very own James Yarcho got burned by experts who said to bench Murray last week. So now, I’m going to say start him. Why? Because James is going to instinctly – it’s a word – distrust any “expert” opinion, even the one from his own site, when it comes to Mr. Murray from here on out.
However, the thought of sitting him again will make him nervous because of what happened against the Seahawks considering Seattle is actually surrendering an average of five points fewer per game than Houston is to running backs.
The week we all thought Murray would bottom out in favor of the younger Derrick Henry, he had the most touches he’s had all year.
SLEEPER: Quarterback, Marcus Mariota – Tennessee Titans
Is there anything which could put Texans’ head coach Bill O’Brien on the hot-seat any faster than almost beating the Patriots just to get whooped by the Titans the following week?
From almost beating Brady to getting torched by Mariota? Seems like a headline I could foresee.
