RB – Jacquizz Rodgers

Five carries for 15 yards. That was all that Jacquizz Rodgers was able post in the Bucs week three loss versus Minnesota Vikings.

Yes that may be due to the fact the Bucs were behind from the opening five minutes, but never the less, abandoning the run game early is no way for a team to make any significant push in a contest.

Like many have expected, the Bucs run game is once again less than flashy… forcing much of the offense to rely on the arm of the young Winston.

This week versus the stout Giants defense, Rodgers has his last chance to prove whether or not he is going to be the number one back when Doug Martin returns week five. If there is anytime to prove your worth it is now.

Can Rogers take control against the New York Giants last in the league against the run defense or will second year man Peyton Barber get the workload he deserves.
