The Buccaneers are facing off against the Patriots on TNF, let’s take a look at who is going to be inactive for this game.

The Buccaneers are getting their first primetime action of the season tonight against the Patriots. Unfortunately, some key players won’t be able to showcase their abilities tonight. More of the same this week as the defense is injured while the offense remains healthy.

Both teams have announced their inactives, let’s take a look at who will be missing this game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1)

S Keith Tandy

S TJ Ward

LB Lavonte David

LB Kwon Alexander

T Leonard Wester

C Joe Hawley

DT Sealiver Siliga

There is one new name to the list in Keith Tandy. The Bucs were already struggling with Ward out, Tandy also being injured is worrying. None of these names come as a surprise, however, as Tandy, Ward, and Lavonte were all doubtful and as we all know, players who are doubtful rarely ever play.

Next: Gronk is Out

New England Patriots (2-2)

RB Rex Burkhead

CB Eric Rowe

DL Alan Branch

OL Cole Croston

LB Harvey Laugi

TE Rob Gronkowski

OL LaAdrian Waddle

The Patriots will be without their star TE Rob Gronkowski, as he suffered a thigh injury in practice this week and is unable to suit up. Outside of Gronk, the Bucs only seem to be missing Alan Branch who is a solid Dlineman for them. Burkhead was expected to be a major part of the offense but has found himself on the inactive list as of late.

The Buccaneers defense will be tested without four starters this week. Rookie Justin Evans has to step up this week. This is also a chance for Beckwith to show what he is made of because he has been phenomenal for the Bucs so far.

Offensively, the Bucs must attack this Pats defense. Surprisingly, the Pats have given up nearly 400 yards in every game this season. With both defenses not at their best and two explosive offenses, we could be in for a shootout.

This is the chance for Jameis to show everyone that he and the Bucs are for real, let’s hope they’re up for the task.

Here it is, the inactive lists for both teams in this exciting TNF matchup.

How do you guys think Justin Evans will fare in his first NFL start?
