NFC NORTH

Detroit hosts the Panthers in the early games on Sunday, giving you just one shot at fantasy football points from this division before 4PM EST this weekend.

However, the Packers play in the 4:25 EST slot in Dallas this Sunday and the Bears host Minnesota in Mitch Trubisky’s debut in the NFL.

SIT: Quarterback, Mitch Trubisky – Chicago Bears

Whomever thought it was a good idea to start an over-drafted rookie in primetime against the Vikings defense with a suspect offensive line in front of him….

START: Minnesota Vikings Defense

See above.

SLEEPER: Detroit Lions Defense

The Lions are surrendering just 12.48 points per game on average to opposing quarterbacks. If Cam Newton struggles, the whole Panthers offense struggles.

AFC NORTH

Cleveland is hosting the New York Jets at 1PM EST, and the Steelers host the Jaguars at the same time.

The Bengals also play the early time slot this Sunday with the Bills traveling south, and Baltimore visits a Derek Carr-less Raiders team.

SIT: Baltimore Ravens Defense

The Ravens aren’t good against the run. Surrendering the fifth most fantasy football points to the position in the NFL.

The Raiders will run more without Derek Carr in the lineup. Enough said?

START: Running Back, Duke Johnson Jr. – Cleveland Browns

New York has the fourth worst fantasy defense against running backs, and is allowing more than 22 points per game to the position.

Even better for Johnson’s match-up, the Jets are also allowing the ninth most receptions by running backs in the NFL. All good  things for Duke.

SLEEPER: Baltimore Ravens Defense

If EJ Manuel is what he was in Buffalo, then Oakland is in trouble, and Baltimore’s defense may come out smelling like roses.

It’s a big roll of the dice if you throw them though.
