Cornerback Patrick Peterson

Patrick Peterson might be the best cornerback in the league. His speed is among the fastest in the league and he can press anybody at the line. Quarterbacks rarely target his side of the field and theres good reason. With 20 career interceptions and 65 pass deflections I would be afraid to throw to his side too. The Buccaneers have Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson to compete against him but last season Peterson contained Evans for a majority of the blow out loss.

The passing attack has more weapons this year and they will be needed against this quality secondary. With players like Tyrann Mathieu and Budda Baker in coverage look for the tight ends to try and exploit the middle of the field. The Cardinals defense can be beat however. Carson Wentz had three touchdowns in the first quarter against them. While it’s not impossible to pass against them it is very risky. Look for Doug Martin to be more of a factor running the ball this week.
