Running Back Andre Ellington

While many people will look to see what Adrian Peterson is going to do in his new uniform the real running back the Buccaneers should look out for is Andre Ellington. While he is not utilized in the ground game as much he is the go to guy for Carson Palmer on dump offs and screens. He’s averaging seven catches and 70 receiving yards per week over the last three weeks. Taking over David Johnson’s role makes him not only a good PPR fantasy option but a threat on every passing play.

The Buccaneers may be getting their two top linebackers back this week so containing him might not be as difficult. Even if Kwon Alexander and Lavonte David don’t play Kendall Beckwith has been a tackling stud for the defense in his first year. It only takes one play though for him to break free and get those big chunk yards. He may not be the scariest option on the Cardinals offense but he’s been Carson’s favorite target recently so they should definitely be aware of him.

The Cardinals aren’t as scary with David Johnson injured but they still have weapons on both sides of the ball. They also have a great coach in Bruce Arians who knows how to bring out the best in his players. The Cardinals are coming off a blow out loss and the Buccaneers will need to be head strong to fly back to Tampa with a 3-2 record.
