Kicker – Pat Murray

Another season, another new kicker… or two.

After a horrendous showing from kicker Nick Folk, who is now on injured reserve, the Bucs brass knew it was time to move along.

Instead of dwelling on a mistake like they have with the past three kickers, General Manager Jason Licht immediately kicked the tires on finding a replacement.

Enter Pat Murray.

Murray, who has played for the Bucs in the past, signed this past week in hopes of reestablishing himself as a true NFL caliber kicker.  In 2014 Murray went 20-24 on field goals with a long of 55 yards. Not to shabby for a relatively unknown prospect out of Fordham.

Now with the Bucs once again with their backs against the wall due to the curse Connor Barth, can the Bucs finally… FINALLY… find their answer to the kicking question?

It is quite obvious now why Licht chose to draft a kicker in the second round now.
