This question is tough because I’d obviously love to keep all three. However, if I have to choose I will. I would keep Jameis Winston, trade Mike Evans and release Doug Martin.

Since Martin’s contract isn’t guaranteed for this season he makes the obvious choice to be cut. He looked extremely sharp against the Pats, but he is very injury prone and inconsistent.

I am a big fan of Martin, so cutting him does hurt, but he has the least amount of value out of the rest.

Trading Evans seemed like the logical thing to do because he is a phenomenal wide receiver and there are teams that will give up a LOT for a great receiver.

Must Read: Bucs Specific Fantasy Outlook

We all know the effect Evans has on defenses, and I’m sure NFL teams would be giddy at the thought of having him.

The Bucs would be able to pull in a great package of picks and maybe even address some needs in the process.

Lastly, keep Winston, its the obvious choice.

He is the franchise quarterback. It took years to find him, but the Buccaneers finally have one. Wide receivers and running backs are replaceable.

Franchise quarterbacks are not. Think of all the quarterbacks the Bucs had to go through to get Jameis. Hell, the Browns have never even had a franchise passer.

People may not like that Winston hasn’t developed as fast as they like, but let me tell you something, he’s only 23. Let me say it again, HE’S ONLY 23. It would be dumb to get rid of the best quarterback in team history(already), and possibly one of the best ever.

I know, I know, getting ahead of myself but it’s all there and I think we’ll be seeing it soon.

There you have it, I would keep Jameis, trade Evans and Cut Doug.

Thankfully, Licht has the choice to keep all three.
