The Buccaneers and Bills have announced their inactives lists for today’s game.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills have announced their list of inactive players for today’s match-up. They are as follows;

Buccaneers

T – Caleb Benenoch

CB – Josh Robinson

S – Isaiah Johnson

C – Joe Hawley

TE – Antony Auclair

DE – Ryan Russell

DT – Sealver Siliga

Bills

G – John Miller

T – Conor McDermott

TE – Charles Clay

T – Seantrel Henderson

LB – Ramon Humber

WR – Kaelin Clay

DT – Cedric Thornton

We already knew Caleb Benenoch wasn’t going to play. It was announced Saturday that, due to illness, he wasn’t going to make the trip with the team. Other than that, it’s nice to see one name not on the list – Kwon Alexander. The Bucs will finally see the return of the middle linebacker, who hasn’t played since the first game of the year against the Chicago Bears thanks to a lingering hamstring injury. Alexander’s presence will certainly impact the defense and allow for a little more creativity when it comes to sending the blitz. And with a quarterback as mobile as Tyrod Taylor, Kwon’s speed and instincts will play a large part in keeping the threat of Taylor running to a minimum.

We were also aware that Bills’ tight end Charles Clay wasn’t going to be in the game, which is an advantage for the Buccaneers. Clay has been the Bills’ top offensive threat outside of LeSean McCoy and limits the offense for Buffalo. Again, their success has been predicated on an opportunistic defense that sets the offense up in favorable positions.

It’s great to see the Bucs’ defense back to full strength this week as they are in desperate need to get this thing back on track.
