Buccaneers Round Table: Is T.J. Ward right about his comments?

On behalf of the comments made by newcomers TJ Ward and Chris “Swaggy” Baker, I believe there is an obvious truth.

First of all I agree with their comments about being rotational players. Both players have had plenty of seasons in the NFL for their former respective teams and have done so at a high level.

Why would both have such a drop-off since joining the Bucs? They haven’t.

Unfortunately due to Mike Smith’s scheme, he believes the player with the better knowledge of the defense and whoever has the better match-up should be on the field.

Although I agree with this to a point, both of these players have extremely high ceilings when they are on the field.

This season is a wash, get them out there and get them comfortable for next year.

Big time players make big time plays.
