Cameron Jordan

There is nothing more important for the Tampa Bay offense than keeping Jameis Winston upright in the pocket. Especially with the condition of Winston’s shoulder, the offensive line needs to be at its best. That makes Cameron Jordan a very important player in Sunday’s game. He could make a huge impact for the Saints.

Jordan leads the team with five and a half sacks, which is almost as many as the Bucs have as a team. He is an impact player and there’s no doubt he’ll have a shot to disrupt the Tampa Bay backfield on Sunday afternoon. Not only can he get after the quarterback, but he is forcing turnovers as well. The seventh-year veteran has two forced fumbles and a pick six this season. The Bucs know all too well how turnovers can change a game, as last Sunday’s loss to the Panthers was just the latest string of evidence.

The 28-year-old will be someone to watch all day on Sunday, likely lining up against Buc veteran Demar Dotson. Dotson himself is having a strong season, playing at a Pro Bowl level. But this week’s test won’t be an easy one for him. If Jordan gets the better of him and makes his way to Winston, it could mean trouble for Tampa Bay.
