Fantasy football sit, start, and sleepers: Divisional Advice for 2017, Week 9
AFC EAST
SIT: Quarterback, Josh McCown – New York Jets
The Jets have been surprisingly good this season. The Bills have been better. Especially on defense.
START: Running Back, LeSean McCoy – Buffalo Bills
Is Shady loves one thing, it’s attention. Well, attention and winning. Right now, he’s doing enough of the second, and on Thursday night he’ll be looking for more of the first. Kelvin Benjamin’s addition to the offense will draw defenders out of the areas Shady likes to operate.
SLEEPER: Quarterback, Tyrod Taylor – Buffalo Bills
If he’s available in your league, go get him. He’s got a soft playoff schedule, and with his running game going, he’s going to put up some solid points moving forward.
NFC EAST
SIT: Dallas Cowboys Running Backs
Who will be the starter? Who knows? Unless there’s another Cowboys fan wearing robes available, don’t go with any Dallas running back until you see what the Cowboys are actually going to do with them.
START: Tight End, Zach Ertz – Philadelphia Eagles
If Jay Ajayi can actually do something for the Eagles, then Ertz is going to have more room to operate against defenses biting on play-action. Starting now.
SLEEPER: Wide Receiver, Cole Beasley – Dallas Cowboys
This is all dependent on his coming out of the NFL’s concussion protocol, so keep an eye out for that. But, if he does, a short passing game is the friend of any quarterback without a running game.
