Even with not so good quarterback play, The Tampa bay Buccaneers pass catchers still seem to be a bright spot on the offense.

With not much going on throughout the day on offense, two Buccaneer receivers had 60 yards or more. Cameron Brate and Mike Evans continue to be Winston’s go to guys. Brate lead the team with four receptions for 64 yards and Evans accounted for five receptions for 60 yards.

Jackson would’ve lead the team for yards but, due to a missed pass interfernce call at the two yard line Jackson never got his chance.

Evans continues to be physical at the line of scrimmage wether it’s a running play and he’s needed for blocking, or trying to get that extra few steps on the defensive player covering him.

Something I would’ve loved to see again this week was the Buccaneers’ ability to trick the defense with their tight ends. In Buffalo, the Bucs benefitted from having both Brate and O.J. Howard running routes.

With the obvious choice of Winston’s being Brate, Howard was able to sneak off the line and score twice on some big plays. That wasn’t the case this week.

Howard’s strength on offense this season has been blocking. Howard understands how to use his buig frame body to use as leverage when providing a pass block or run block.
