The most consistent unit on the Buccaneer’s defense is the line backing corp. With two games back from injury under his belt, Kwon Alexander was back t his normal physical self. Alexander had a very nice splash play on the running back that ended up being a tackle for loss

Alexander’s closing speed is still a spectacle to see. The back had no chance of out running the third year linebacker around the corner.

Lavonte David is having another Pro Bowl season. His presence in the run game has been very good this year. He continues to not aloud much from the run or pass when he is being targeted.

Adarius Glanton found some playing time this week due to Kendell Beckwith coming out for a few plays. Galnton accounted for only one tackle.

As a whole, this group played like they usually do. Tough and to the line. The Bucs continue to use either David or Beckwith as an edge rusher on very few occassions.

The one thing that’ll help the line backers make more splash plays is pressure up front. With a lack of that this week, there wasn’t many splash plays to be made up the middle of the field.
