Who are the five key Buccaneers in this week’s match-up with division rival New Orleans?

The Buccaneers are in the midst of a four game losing streak and now have to face the division leading Saints on the road. This was a season was of full of promise for the Buccaneers but the hype train has been derailed and the fan base is now in full-on panic mode. The franchise quarterback is hurt, the defense has been underwhelming, and the run game has been nonexistent. The Buccaneers still have the offensive firepower to get into a shootout with any team in the league and – in the Superdome – that’s exactly what this contest could end up being.   This week the Bucs look to right the ship and we will look at the key players to help them along the way.

The Saints and Buccaneers have been a one-sided matchup for the most part as the Saints are 31-19 ahead of the Bucs in their historical matchups. This is the best winning percentage in Saints history against a single club.  With both offenses operating at full strength, this might be an offensive shootout to match the 78 combined points they put up on 12/6/1987, which is currently the highest scoring game in their history.
