The Buccaneers inconsistency problem strikes again. When the defense holds an opposing team to under 300 yards they can’t score more than seventeen points. When the offense is scoring points the defense can’t stop a nosebleed. Things will be interesting this week with the 5-2 next on the schedule.

New Orleans has been the opposite of the Buccaneers this year starting 0-2 then going on a five-game win streak. The Saints offense has put up the usual numbers under a Drew Brees run offense but it’s the defense that has made an astounding turnaround. New Orleans had the worst pass defense the first two weeks of the season but since then they have been cured. They are allowing less than five yards per attempt, less than one passing touchdown per game, and over two turnovers per game. The offense has found an identity and surprisingly it includes them running the ball and playing good defense. Exactly what everyone didn’t expect going into the season. The Saints always seem to have the Bucs number recently and with the Buccaneers consistency issues especially on the road, the Saints could be in store for a big day. Let’s take a look at what players the Buccaneers should be focusing on this Sunday in New Orleans.
