Six Songs To Describe The Buccaneers And Their Fans Through Eight Games

Here’s a little playlist to describe the state of the Bucs as well as their fans after an unpredictable 2-6 start to the season;

6.) “Bad Day” – Daniel Powter

This is pretty much a staple. “You stand in the line just to hit a new low. You’re faking a smile with the coffee to go. ‘Cause you had a bad day. You’re takin one down. You sing a sad song just to turn it around…”

5.) “Breaking My Heart” – Harry Nilsson

The perfect song dedicated to the Buccaneers from all Bucs fans. “All I wanna do is have a good time, now I’m blue…” (For those that don’t know the song, it’s in the video below. But be warned, contains some NSFW language)

4.) “My City Of Ruins” – Bruce Springsteen

That’s basically what we’ve been reduced to. “Now there’s tears on my pillow darling where we slept. Now tell me how do I begin again? My city’s in ruins.” All we can do is hope the Bucs take a page out of one of the other parts of the song and “Come on rise up”.

3.) “Unwell” – Matchbox 20

We’re all a little unwell this morning. Another nauseating performance. “Hold On. I’m feeling like I’m headed for a break down. And I don’t know why. I’m not crazy I’m just a little unwell…”

2.) “Break Stuff” – Limp Bizkit

Now, I’m no Limp Bizkit fan, but back in middle school this was the JAM. And it’s fitting for as angry as we all are today. “It’s just one of those days when you don’t wanna wake up. Everything is ——, everybody sucks…”

1.) “Numb” – Linkin Park

This is the fan base in a nutshell. Years upon years upon years of losing. Last season we get that glimmer of hope that we’ve taken a step in the right direction. They have a winning record. They get DeSean Jackson. They have a solid draft. Now, well, “I’ve become so numb, I can’t feel you there. Become so tired, so much more aware… And every second I waste is more than I can take…”
