If any hope remained for the Buccaneers (2-6) to make a late season playoff push, it was completely dashed by the New Orleans Saints (6-2). Let’s examine some winners and losers from he game.

It’s getting more and more difficult to watch the Buccaneers this season. The team has suffered worse losses in the past, but I can’t recall ever wanting to turn the game off more than this game versus the Saints. My expectations were low for this match-up given how bad the Bucs have been recently, but somehow it managed to be even worse.

Finding winners for this game was actually somewhat easy, because of how few candidates there were. The losers on the other hand were a bit more difficult to pick. Could it be one of the defensive linemen that failed to register pressure on Drew Brees? One of the linebackers that whiffed several times on running back Alvin Kamara? What about one of the offensive linemen that yielded constant pressure to Saints defenders? Let’s take a look, beginning with the two bright spots.
