Running Back

Le’Veon Bell $9,800

The safest play in all of fantasy this week seems to be the Steelers bell-cow back.  Coming off the bye, Bell gets the Colts who have given up an average of 113.9 rushing yards against per game.  Bell is averaging 21.4 points-per-game this season in Draft Kings formats and should top that mark this week as he runs all over the hapless Colts.  If Bell and  Antonio Brown each reach 1,000 scrimmage yards on Sunday at Indianapolis, it will mark the seventh time in NFL history that a pair of teammates had at least 1,000 scrimmage yards each in their team’s first nine games of a season. This would be the second time Brown and Bell would reach this feat.  Anything to motivate one of the best running backs in football is a positive thing in my book.  Watch for Bell to rush for 150+ yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Jordan Howard $6,100

Howard gets a home game against the division rival Green Bay Packers which could be a cold one as its’ going to be a projected high of 38 degrees.  This makes it hard for the quarterbacks and wide receivers to connect and the Bears will look to protect the Rookie Turbisky.  The Packers have been giving up 118 yards-per-game on the ground this season which puts them in the bottom ten in the NFL at stopping the run.  Combine that with the fact that they are ranked 29th in the league at stopping opposing running backs in points-per-game against means this is a prime game for Howard to go big!  Look for Howard to hit the 100+ yards on the ground and his second multi-touchdown game.

Leonard Fournette $8,400

The Jaguars rookie has fresh legs as this will be his first game since week six.  Fournette is averaging 23.2 points-per-game this season on Draft Kings and has three out of six games played he had reached over 100 yards on the ground.  He has also scored a touchdown in every single game he has played in the NFL so far this season.  Don’t look for that to change as the Chargers are giving up 135.1 yards-per-game to opposing teams which is the second from last in the NFL.  Watch for Fournette to go off for 150+ yards and his second multi-touchdown game.
