NFC WEST

SIT: Running Back, Carlos Hyde – San Francisco 49ers

Hyde should feel energized a bit after his coach and GM supported his actions leading to his ejection. It won’t take away from the fact the Giants defense really only has him to focus on this weekend.

START: Seattle Seahawks Defense

The Cardinals are a shell of their former selves, and I really wish they would have traded Larry Fitzgerald to the Eagles so he could have tried to get a ring. Anyway, Seattle’s defense is going to dominate Arizona.

SLEEPER: Quarterback, Jared Goff – Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff is showing flashes of why he was the top pick in last year’s NFL Draft. Going against the Texans, as the defense tires out, his performance should produce some fantasy football points.

AFC WEST

SIT: Denver Broncos Defense

Things could really come to a head in Denver this weekend if the Broncos come out flat against the Patriots on Sunday night. Brock Osweiler will try to help turn things around, but John Elway doesn’t take too well to getting embarrassed on national TV. Heads could roll.

START: Running Back, Melvin Gordon – Los Angeles Chargers

Gordon should get RB1 type volume this weekend. Look, I have to start someone from the AFC West, and my choices are the Broncos and Chargers. Give me a break, ok.

SLEEPER: Los Angeles Chargers Defense

Blake Bortles is always a candidate to do Blake Bortles like things. Which would translate to fantasy football points for the Chargers defense.
