Here we are, coming up on week 10 and another Chris Baker tweet is being discussed. This one is different from the last one though. Baker is apologizing saying that the Bucs can’t be this bad and saying that they will turn it around. It’s funny because I was thinking the very same thing to myself, the Bucs honestly can NOT be this bad. At the very worst I expected a 7-9 season and that was if there were several injuries.
The Bucs do have several injuries, but even when they were healthy, it hasn’t exactly made a difference. As for the turning around part, I truly hope the Bucs do, but I just don’t see it happening. The Bucs aren’t a good team and the reason isn’t something you can fix immediately, at least I don’t think so.

Must Read: Buccaneers Talk

Im not so sure I can accept Baker’s apology either, it’s one thing if the players aren’t playing well, but it’s another if they are playing without heart. The Bucs haven’t shown any heart, they haven’t shown any resiliency, they haven’t shown that they even want to win. It is hard to accept an apology from a player who was expected to come in and solidify the run defense, instead they’ve been getting gashed worse than last year. The only players I see giving it their all on defense are Lavonte David, GMC and Kwon, but Kwon hasn’t been having that great of a year. Overall, an apology is nice because it shows that he knows that they are disappointing the fans and that they must do better. However, I would much rather see them walk the walk, than talk the talk.
