Quarterback Josh McCown and Tight End Austin Seferian-Jenkins
While these aren’t the biggest players in the league they are both recent castaways by the Buccaneers finding success elsewhere. While they aren’t the All-Pros that Michael Bennett and Aqib Talib are they are putting up better numbers than they were in Tampa Bay. Josh McCown had a 1-10 record with the Buccaneers leading them to the first overall pick. With the Buccaneers, he had 2,200 yards, fourteen total touchdowns, and fourteen interceptions in those eleven games. This season with the Jets he has 1,980 yards, sixteen total touchdowns, and only seven interceptions with a career-high passer rating of 96.1.

One of McCown’s targets in his one season at Tampa, Austin Seferian-Jenkins is giving the Jets his best statistical season. In seven games, after serving a two-game suspension to start the year, already has a career-high 33 catches and three touchdowns. While he doesn’t look like he will ever reach his full potential as a second-round pick the rebirth of Austin Seferian-Jenkins is something Bucs fans wanted to see when they drafted him. The Buccaneers currently have two high-quality tight ends so Jenkins wouldn’t really fit on this current roster but Buccaneers fans are definitely tired of seeing other players have better careers elsewhere.
